Q: Are there any age requirements for admission to this program?
A: You need to be at least 16 years old. There is no upper age limit
providing the person is mentally competent and has a reasonably good
memory. It has been my experience that even the most advanced age is no
barrier to the profound changes that tapping can bring about.
Q: Are there any physical or mental limitations?
A.
You
need to be able to speak over the telephone or have someone who can
speak for you who agrees to be on the phone and talk for you
during the tapping sessions if you cannot do this for yourself at the
present time due to illness or injury.
You need to have
a reasonably good command of conversational English.
If you have been hospitalized for a psychiatric condition in the past,
or if you have suicidal thoughts at the present time, I will need
to communicate with your psychiatrist or other health care provider
to find out whether it is considered safe for you to undertake a
course of meridian tapping therapy over the phone. If you are severely
depressed or suffer from some other severe psychiatric condition you should not enter this time-limited program.
Q: What are the costs involved and the arrangements?
A. The fee for each 60 minute session is $197 (U.S.) which is payable
by credit card or PayPal directly following the session (we keep
your credit card information on file for the duration of the 6
weeks only) or by check prior to the session.
If a client runs over the 1 hour limit of the session to complete an
intensive piece of work, the extra time is prorated so that you pay
only that portion of the extra hour that you actually use. Up to
half an hour of extra time is usually available if it is clearly
required but most sessions are completed within the hour.
You must notify me of an upcoming cancellation at least 24 hours in
advance of your session (except in the event of an emergency) or
you have to pay for that session. If I am given sufficient advance
notice, I attempt to adjust scheduling of your sessions to accommodate irregularities of your schedule which may become
necessary because of legitimate demands of your business or home life,
but in that event it is not always possible to reschedule your
session within the same week.
Q: Can
I obtain insurance reimbursement for these sessions?
A: This depends upon your insurance policy. If your policy covers
"outpatient psychotherapy" this is a possibility because my services are
billed under this heading, complete with diagnosis, treatment codes etc.
as required by insurance companies. I am a licensed Practicing
Psychologist in the state of New Jersey and will be considered an "out
of network" provider by your insurance company because I do not
presently belong to any network. If your claim is approved by your
insurance carrier their reimbursement for my services could be as much
as 50% of the amount paid to me, the exact percentage depending upon the
terms of your policy. If you request me to do so, I will submit an
invoice to you at the end of the six session program which will be in
standard format suitable for submission to your insurance carrier. The
only reason for their possible refusal to cover my services might be the
fact that I do not reside in your state. You may or may not want to
question the insurance company in advance about this geographical
issue, some people have preferred simply to submit their claim after
termination of the program without comment, and these claims have often
been paid. Use your own judgment as to whether to inquire beforehand.
Q:
How quickly can I obtain the recordings of my sessions and how do I go
about doing this?
A:
To facilitate the effectiveness of these sessions, each session is
recorded and the complete replay of it made available for you to
download as an MP3 file within 24 hours following the end of
the session. For security purposes, the recordings are made on a
conference call line to which only you and myself have access .
Q: How much homework is required between sessions? What does it consist of?
A: You are not required to do any homework between sessions in order
to comply with the program, but I recommend that you use homework
if you want to obtain the most benefit from your work with me. If
you choose to do this, your homework assignments are
formulated at the close of each session to suit your current needs.
Q: How experienced do I have to be with
forms of meridian tapping such as EFT to benefit from this program?
A: You only need to know where the tapping spots are located to follow
along as I lead you in the tapping process because I repeat the location of each tapping
spot as you come to it. If you are a complete newcomer and have never
used a form of meridian tapping before, I will send you a diagram of the points before we
commence our work together.
Q:
In what time-zone do these meridian tapping sessions originate?
A: Dr. Carrington's office is
on U.S. Eastern

Q: Can evening appointments be scheduled?

more up to date information contact us by email (see below).

single session with Dr. Carrington?
