How To Become Part Of Our Newsletter
Guidelines for Submission of
News Items
News items should tell about
NEW uses for EFT, new settings in
which it has been used, and innovative ways of applying it. Routine
announcements do not qualify. For example, please do not send announcements of
presentations that you have made
unless these have “broken ground” in some manner – for example. They have reached
an audience generally unreachable before, etc.
While
each submission is greatly appreciated, realize that yours may
or may not be used. We will publish only those we think are the
most informative and timely for the majority of our readers.
We are
looking for the following content:
1. New ways in which EFT has been applied
that are not widely known, or have been reported only briefly elsewhere. For example, with respect
to the use of EFT in hospitals, we already know that it can be used
preoperatively to reduce anxiety, so while this is a great potential use
for this method, it is no longer newsworthy. However, if you were to
report that a department in a hospital had endorsed its use for this purpose, or if you knew a practitioner who is
being routinely called to the bedside of
anxious preoperative patients, that would (at least at the present time)
be
newsworthy.
2. New
circumstances in which you (or someone you know) has used EFT effectively
(for example at a day care center, for high-strung race horses, etc.)
3. New variations in the wording of EFT statements that you have
developed and used successfully (describe circumstances.)
