I’m often asked to review EFT books, CDs, DVDs, or other products on this newsletter, but I seldom agree to do that. This is because I refuse to endorse any but the very best EFT materials out there, the ones which I consider the cream of the crop. Today though I’m going to review a set of EFT materials for you, because – well, to put it mildly – this one is a "Winner"! No previous attempt to show how to succeed as an EFT practitioner comes close to achieving the validity of this one. I’m referring to two DVDs that contain videos of workshop panels where highly successful EFT Masters tell us exactly how they reached the level of success they have and invite us to join them in an amazing experience. These practitioners happen to be my fellow EFT Masters in real life, but I must say in all honesty that I learned some valuable things from them that I didn't know. Such as how to make use of and really benefit from a good virtual assistant, how to create an effective teleclass (I've been putting that task off until I had the time, but now I’m going to do it!.) and other shared tips that took me off guard and made me say to myself "Hey! Why didn't I think of that? Duh…” However, I certainly wasn't prepared for the surprise I received as I watched the DVDs that were sent to me for review purposes by their producer Ann Adams, who also serves as moderator on most of the panels. I had been watching with admiration the first panel for a while, and then the second one came on, and I was totally shocked to find that one of the main speakers there was –– “Dr. Patricia Carrington”! “That’s me!” I said to myself. For some reason (actually Ann didn’t tell me about it) I had not realized that I was included among the speakers on the DVD, although when I saw myself there I remembered that I had participated in an "EFT As a Business" panel at the Boston Masters Showcase in 2007 and enjoyed doing that. What’s more, I was saying some useful things on the screen and I looked okay too -- always a concern for anyone on a video! For a moment I questioned whether it was legitimate for me to review a series in which I myself was a participant, but as I heard my fellow Masters sharing some incredible information, my hesitation vanished. I wanted to let you, my readers know about the collection of honest, forthright advice available on these DVDs. I wanted you to be able, if you wished to, to attend the EFT Masters showcases where the panels took place, as though you were present in the auditorium. Just who are the participants on these panels? The eight Masters shown there are Rue Hass, Carol Look, Ann Ross, Jaqui Crooks, Judy Byrne, Maggie Adkins, myself (Pat Carrington), Lindsay Kenny, and Tania Prince, and they make their contributions with great sincerity, talking right to you, the viewer, so that you feel their interest in your own efforts to build your own practice. There are also some additional attractions on the DVDs. Ann Adams, whom you may remember as the Director of Gary Craig’s (now discontinued) EFT Masters program, has put together for us a charming PowerPoint presentation which serves as a visual summary of the most important insights expressed on the panels. I personally love this kind of visual reinforcement myself, and Ann is masterful at creating such presentations (viz. her EFT for PowerPoint bestselling slideshow). She also created as part of this package a downloadable workbook that guides you to make lists of what’s important to you and helps generate your own ideas to improve your practice. Ann shares, in a very capsule form, a lot of marketing ideas and concepts that you can use. Laundry lists like this are really not my cup of tea, but if you want an almost exhaustive list of marketing ideas you will find it here. Because I consider this set to be a "must” for anyone wanting to start an EFT practice or enhance an existing one, I am happy to report that you don't have to take my word for its merits. Ann Adams has arranged for you to see a “sneak preview” of each of the panels. As you watch them you’ll not only get a glimpse of what's in store for you if you acquire the DVDs, but will likely learn a thing or two just from the previews themselves!
